Welcome to my website!
Just recently, Miami University recognized me with the Benjamin Harrison Medallion, Miami's most prestigious faculty award for career achievement. The medallion is inscribed with these words: "For Outstanding Contribution to the Education of the Nation."
You can view my acceptance talk from the March 10, 2026, awards ceremony above (still working on the upload!). The award process and the ceremony were rewarding, humbling, and wonderful. Thanks to the awards committee and everyone involved for this great honor.
Students in my EDL 765: Curriculum, Pedagogy and Diversity class in Spring 2025 wrote Chicken Salad and the Curriculum of Life published by Sentia in Fall 2025. Congratulations to all of the amazing student authors on that project with me.
You can find a copy by clicking here.
Take a look at my newest solo book, Curriculum Fragments: A Currere Journey through Life Processes (2024, Routledge), released in July 2024 and recently released in late 2025 in paperback by Routledge.
In early 2025, I published a freelance article in Sports Collectors Digest entitled "Chase of a Lifetime" about my 28 year chase of all of the autographed cards in the 208 count 1997 Upper Deck Legends Football set. In my opinion, it's the sharpest, most fun to look at card set ever produced. The autographed cards are stunning. Take a look at the article here.
Information Age Publishing has released 7 volumes in our Curriculum Windows Series to date, with volume 8 due out in 2026 on curriculum books of the 2010s! Check out all of the books in that series at the Books page... (notice: Emerald bought IAP late in 2024 and will complete the series with volume 8 in early 2026...). Here is the link for our book on the 2010s.
You can watch the book launch video for Curriculum Fragments below, hosted August 8, 2024, by Bill Pinar, Kieran Forde, Denise Baszile, and Morna McDermott McNulty.
And take a look at my book talk in St. Marys, Ohio, introducing Curriculum Fragments at the city's first St. Marys Celebrates Education, Writing, and the Power of Stories program in September 2024 (click the link on the book title above to watch!)
